One computer per group of 3-4 students, Internet connection, Web browser

Preparation:
1.Locate sites offering suitable example of a letter2.Prepare lesson and worksheets that is related to the site
Procedure:
2. Discuss with the students on things to be included when writing a formal letter (e.g. address, date, contents, signature, etc)
3. Write notes on the whiteboard while discussing with the students (e.g. introduction, contents, conclusion, etc)
4. Bring the students to the website chosen (http://www.engrish.com/category/signs/page/5/) and ask them to read a sample of poor-written letter that can be found in the site
5. Hand each group a worksheet and instruct them to brainstorm the answers within groups
6. After that, ask each group to create an email address
7. Ask each group to type a formal letter based on the worksheet and the website
8. Send the letter by using email to the teacher
Follow-up Activity:
Teacher asks students to check email during free time to know their marks
